The aim of the Elgin City FC Community Football is to provide a safe environment and to encourage and promote the development of football and health within the community of Moray through the provision programmes for people of all ages for boys and girls that foster fair play, participation for all, irrespective of race, colour, religion, gender, sexuality or disabilities.

Football Centres

Our football centres are open to children in Primary 1 to Primary s2. Delivered by certified & qualified coaches. All PVG checked and first aid trained.

Fun sessions where youngsters can learn and develop the basic skills required for football. It doesn’t matter if they’ve never played before, the sessions are designed to challenge each individual while allowing them to learn at their own pace. Always playing small sided games at the end of the session, the participants get to put in to practice the skills they have learned which includes passing, dribbling, shooting, control, teamwork and communication.

It doesn’t matter if they’ve never played before, the sessions are designed to challenge each individual while allowing them to learn at their own pace. Always playing fun conditioned games at the end of the session, the participants get to put in to practice the skills they have learned, which included handling, shot stopping, diving and distribution.

Goalkeeper Centre

Centre is based in Elgin. Open to children in Primary 1 to S2. Delivered by certified & qualified coaches. All PVG checked and first aid trained.

Little Dribblers (Age 2-5)

Centre is based in Elgin. Open to children aged 2-5 years old. Delivered by certified & qualified coaches. All PVG checked and first aid trained.

Sessions where the focus is fun, fun, fun! The participants take part in fun activities & relating to football, which are used to develop key life skills such as listening, concentration, hand-eye coordination and physical literacy basics. Each participant will receive a trophy at the end of the term.

It doesn’t matter if they’ve never played before, the sessions are designed to challenge each individual while allowing them to learn at their own pace. Always playing small sided games at the end of the session, the participants get to put in to practice the skills they have learned which includes passing, dribbling, shooting, control, teamwork and communication. Each participant will receive a trophy at the end of the week for their efforts.

Holiday Camps

Possible Camps held in Elgin, Buckie, Forres, Lossiemouth, Aberlour, Keith & Huntly. Open to children in Primary 1 to Primary 7. Delivered by certified & qualified coaches. All PVG checked and first aid trained.

Walking Football

Walking football for those over 50 years old

The beautiful game just at a slower, but no less competitive, pace! First session is free and then £4.00 pay as you play thereafter. Those taking part get free entry to the over 50s coffee morning afterwards!

Fun developmental football sessions for girls of all abilities in p1-7.

UEFA DISNEY PLAYMAKERS

Unlike traditional football programmes, each of Playmakers training sessions follow the narrative of Disney and Pixar’s billion dollar global box office smash hitS, ENCANTO, INCREDIBLES 2, FROZEN 2 & MOANA.

Equipped with footballs, bibs and cones, trained coaches encourage participants to play the roles of the popular characters, bringing the film’s action scenes to life through movement, teamwork and their imagination.

NETWORK RAIL

Using the power of football to teach kids the importance of railway safety & displaying these messages on social media.

SCOTTISH GAS HOLIDAY FOOTBALL

Providing weeks of free football for kids aged 11-14 years old, providing them with a healthy snack to go along with the opportunity to exercise through football.

SCOTTISH FA PROJECTS/INITIATIVES

The club regularly delivers programmes in partnership with the Scottish FA to provide activities to those who wouldn’t normally have access to play due to different barriers to participation e.g. financial, location, isolation, ability or gender.
